Copia tries to look into the ambiguity of copying and to figure out its relevance for contemporary graphic design.
In today's age of ongoing digitalization copying seems to be an increasingly common and inevitable activity. At the same time we still have a very negative and contradictory notion towards it. What does copy actually mean? Where is the difference between plagiarism and copying? What does originality even mean in times of the internet?
